Ms. Aruni Jayakody, the project coordinator of AREU’s constitutional studies programme and co-author of a case study entitled “Separation of Powers under the Afghan Constitution: A Case Study,” presented at the Board of Donors – Justice meeting that took place in Palace 7 on 6 May 2015. The Board of Donors gathers all the donors in Afghanistan that are supporting projects in the field of justice. Ms. Jayakody presented the issues connected to the Article 130 of the Afghan constitution regarding the usage of Hanafi jurisprudence, as well as on the future constitutional reform process.
