A to Z Guide to Afghanistan Assistance 2010 – Eighth Edition

The eighth edition of AREU’s flagship publication is a guide to the terms, structures, mechanisms, and coordinating bodies critical to the Afghanistan relief effort. It aims to ensure a shared vocabulary and common understanding of the forces at play in the country. In addition to a glossary of terms and organograms of key assistance structures, the guide includes maps and a contacts directory to make it easier to communicate with assistance actors working on the ground. A “live document,” the guide is updated and published annually. This edition also contains a special Elections 2009-10 section.
