Water rights and conflict resolution processes in Afghanistan: The case of the Sar-i-Pul sub-basin

On the 3rd February 2014 AREU convened a  roundtable at MAIL. This session was held on the advice of the Deputy Minister of MRRD and nearly 30 individuals attended the RTD.The Deputy Minister of MAIL was invited but was not able to attend the presentation. However, Habib Khan, Policy and Technical Advisor and other senior members of the ministry were present. AREU researcher and report co-author, Mujib Ahmad Azizi delivered the presentation. The MAIL staff members were receptive of the water study and asked for another briefing when the results of the third study are available.
