Publications Officer

The main responsibilities of the Publications Officer (in addition to editorial duties) are:
• To oversee the production of AREU publications to ensure that they are produced at high quality in a timely way;
• To coordinate with researchers, peer-reviewers, editors, translators and printers to ensure publications meet internal deadlines and are within budget;
• To edit all in-house publications (papers, blogs, transcripts and reports of events, e.g RTD and consultations), quality control of social media posts (tweets and FB posts) with the Publications & Communication Officer (PCO) for the Dari and Pashto versions), communications related to outreach and dissemination of AREU’s research findings; edit articles, editorials and blogs on AREU’s research findings for major local and international media.

Research and Donor Coordinator

The Research and Donor Coordinator will report to the Research Manager regarding all research-related matters, and to the AREU Director regarding donor relations. S/he will liaise between research and communications on all donor related requirements of the project. S/he will also be responsible for reporting and communicating with the donors.
